A COVID-19 update for MicrotechDPS Clients
Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this Coronavirus.
As a MicrotechDPS Client, I wanted to provide you with an update on how we are preparing for COVID-19/ Coronavirus, and the steps we are taking to minimise wherever possible any impacts on our customers.
We have been actively monitoring and managing risks associated with the outbreak for our people, customers and our business. As we prepare and respond, our number one priority will always be the safety of our employees, and the employees of our clients. We also want to ensure that the same health and safety policies apply to MicrotechDPS employees who operate at our customers’ premises.
In response to COVID-19, we have introduced additional safeguards to reduce the risk of disruption to the services we provide. To date these include:
- Implemented flexible work arrangements where people in non-business-critical roles are working remotely to safely support our operations
- Cancelled participation in industry events and other gatherings through the end of March. We continue to evaluate the need to extend this policy.
- Suspending all International Travel
- Reducing all Domestic travel to essential travel only
Although the present situation remains fluid we are currently confident that we are able to perform our Account Management and Technical Support services in our area without any limitations until advised otherwise.
We ask that in effort to continue our service to the best of our ability should the unfortunate situation of a positive diagnosis occur within your team we be informed ASAP so that we can discuss the isolation timeframe for the site in question and update our schedules to ensure the wellbeing of our team and the wider community is being met.
